Expanding Scheduling Options for Playlists

It would be really nice to allow for more day options for playlist schedules.
Using Playlister for signage can really generate a large number of schedules.
Having checkboxes to select days would be great. Or an everyday option.
The problem I am looking to solve is ensuring signage starts everyday in the event of a crash or reboot.
Other solutions could be autoplay last active playlist on launch?
