This would be very helpful! I've had to build Playlists with 80+ photo slides. I had to drag & drop each individually. If I was able to drag & drop a whole folder, or be able to select multiple assets at a time when building a Playlist it would save a lot of time!

Update here! I wanted to share that you can left-click to “Add All” files from a folder as a workaround to save time when managing multiple files. As for batch select, we agree that it would be a fantastic improvement, but I want to be transparent—it’s currently on the back burner due to the complexity of the task. Here’s why the scope is so long:

    1. UI and Workflow Updates:

    • Adding batch select requires significant changes to the interface, including new checkboxes, bulk action menus, and confirmation dialogs to ensure a smooth and intuitive experience for all users.

    2. Backend Adjustments:

    • To support batch operations, we’d need to modify how file selections are stored and processed. This includes handling scenarios like partial uploads, skipped files, and potential errors during bulk actions.

    3. Testing and Performance:

    • Testing becomes more complicated when managing large-scale file operations to ensure Playlister performs reliably and efficiently across all device types and internet speeds.

Because of these factors, we’ve prioritized other features that deliver immediate impact, but batch select remains on our radar as we continue to plan future updates.
