Apple TV - Serial Number and Remote Reboot

It would be great to be able to see the Apple TV's serial number in the dashboard. When troubleshooting an Apple TV via our MDM, if something isn't labeled right, it takes a while to line up the correct device. If we could see the Apple TV's serial number in the Dashboard, it would be a great way to cross-reference when troubleshooting.

On the troubleshooting side, it would be great to be able to send a command from the dashboard to restart the Apple TV and relaunch the Playlister after booting. I was working on a device at a remote campus without staff, and even though I could force a reboot from our MDM, I still needed someone to drive over and relaunch Playlister. I assume we can do it via Kiosk mode on the Apple TV, but we use other software, like Right Now Media for small groups, etc.

  We agree! There may be some MDM limitations to these requests we need to investigate.
