Consistent Scrubbing sensitivity on Trimmed Media
AnsweredThis is a little hard to explain through text, but when I upload one of our 60 minute gathering files and then I trim that Media duration to just a 5 minute song that was within the 60 minute gathering by using the IN and Out Timecode points within the Preview Window. When I then view that 5 minute long trimmed Media on an Apple TV the scrubbing sensitivity of quickly checking through the video using the remote is much higher than if i was scrubbing through the original video. It is as if the scrubbing within the trimmed Media is proportionally more sensitive by how much it has been trimmed in comparison to scrubbing through the original Media on an Apple TV with Playlister.Â
Could trimmed media please be scrubbed through at the same rate of and sensitivity as the original media on Apple TV's? Again this is kind of hard to explain but if you try scrubbing through a trimmed Video in the Playlister app on an Apple TV I think you will see what I mean.

Thank you for reaching out and for the detailed explanation—this makes sense! I understand what you're describing regarding the scrubbing sensitivity for trimmed media versus the original video.
The good news is that we already have this issue on our engineering roadmap, and it's something we plan to address in a future update. I appreciate your patience, and I'll keep you posted on the progress.
Thanks again for your feedback, and feel free to reach out if you have any other questions or suggestions!
