Screen Themes support .gif or looping videos?

I would like to add falling snow to our Screen Themes for December. Could the Home Screen and Playlist Screen upload buttons within Screen Themes accept .gif or looping video background uploads in addition to .jpg files?

  Thank you for your suggestion! We love the idea of adding some winter spirit to the Screen Themes.

  Currently, the Apple TV is not able to support .gif files, but we can explore the possibility of incorporating looping video backgrounds instead. We’ll go ahead and add your video background request for consideration, though I’ll need to confirm whether the Apple TV can handle this within the menu section of the app.
