Updated Screen App for Apple TV - 7.14
The Playlister screen app for Apple TV just got a major update. This is the biggest update we've made to the screen app since it launched.
Here's what's new:
Playlist Browser Press up on the remote to see every item in your playlist as a thumbnail. Scroll through and jump to any slide or video without leaving what's currently playing. If you're mid-video and need to skip ahead to the next slide, you don't have to stop playback to get there.
Clock Overlay Press down on the remote to see the current time on screen. When you're between services and need to know if you're running behind, it's one button press. No pulling out a phone, no leaving the app.
Faster Navigation The entire interface has been rebuilt. Switching between playlists, loading content, moving through slides — everything is faster. This was built for the volunteer who has 90 seconds between services to get the right content on screen.
Playlist Selector Your team can now switch between playlists right from the Apple TV remote without going back to the dashboard. If you run different playlists for different services or rooms, this saves a trip to the computer.
How to Update The update will roll out automatically through the App Store. Make sure your Apple TVs are connected to the internet and set to auto-update. If you want it immediately, go to Settings > Apps > Automatically Update Apps on your Apple TV, or check for updates manually in the App Store.

It's in a phased rollout w/ Apple so auto-updates won't pick it up right away but should be available to 100% of customers this week

Grant G. We are only seeing Playlister App Version 6.21.0 and are on Apple tvOS Version 26.5 with MDM via Mosyle. Has Version 7.14 of Playlister been released or are we hardware limited to a previous version that is 9 months behind?

Thanks Grant G. One of our IT guys said "It looks like the app only released on the app store within the past 10 hours. Mosyle may take a day or so to see the new version and be ready to push it out."
