How to update the Playlister app on your Apple TV (Playlister Lite)

Note: Your Apple TV may need a TVOS update before updating your Playlister App. To update your TVOS, please click here.

Every few months we recommend updating your Playlister app on the Apple TV. By updating the app you will be able to access new Playlister features. For example, MP3 Support only works on version 3.55 of the Playlister app.

For our Lite customers, updating the app sometimes is a manual process. Here is how you update Playlister on your Apple TV:

1. Open the App Store app on your Apple TV. This is the app on your home screen that looks like a blue “A.”

2. Then scroll up and select the magnifying glass icon.

3. Next, search for Playlister

4. Then select the app.

5. Finally, select Update.

If you are a Playlister PRO customer, make sure your Apple TV is turned on and connected to the internet Monday - Wednesday. Our system automatically updates the app every week from 2 a.m. - 5 a.m.
