Apple TV Storage is Full

To know if your Apple TV Storage is full, you will see warnings shown below in your Playlister Screen Manager. (Instructions to remove storage are below the photos)

How to Remove Storage on Your Apple TV

There are three reasons your Apple TV storage can be full:

1. Many playlists on your Apple TV contain large media files. 

• If so- please remove some playlists from your Apple TV using the availability dates (See here). 

2. Other Apps on your Apple TV do not offload storage.

• These third-party apps (e.g., YouTube) are downloaded onto your Apple TV and have not offloaded their storage. Playlister has no control over these Apps and their storage usage. 
  • To clear the media, please follow the instructions in #3 or delete these Apps from your Apple TV.

3. Your Apple TV may not be offloading the storage due to its age or not offloading as it should. 

• When this happens, we will need to run a complete reset on the Apple TV. 
  • To do this, please click here to follow the reset video instructions. 
    • NOTE: You will need your Apple ID and Internet (wifi) password when doing this 
    • NOTE 2: Your Playlister Apple TV may deactivate. If so, please follow the instructions here.
