How to Change Your Account Owner

If you are retiring, leaving your organization, or no longer need access to Playlister, you may need to delete your profile. If your profile is currently listed as the Account Owner, you’ll need to transfer ownership first.

Before You Delete Your Profile

Playlister requires every account to have an Account Owner. Because of that, you cannot delete your profile while you are still the Account Owner.

Steps

1. Go to Settings
2. Open User Management
3. Choose another user on your account and make them the Account Owner
4. Change your own role from Account Owner to Power User
5. Once your role has been updated, delete your profile

Don’t See Another User?

If there is no one else on the account yet, invite the person who should become the new Account Owner first. After they accept the invite, you can assign them as Account Owner and then delete your profile.
