You can tell if your media has synced to your Apple TV easily from the "Screen Manager View" in your Playlister Manage account. The Screen Manager is labeled Screens in your mint toolbar.
All your TV screens with Apple TV hooked up will appear in this view as online or offline.
If the Apple TV is offline you will see a red label at the top left corner that states "offline".
If a screen is offline it means that one of these scenarios is happening:
- The Apple TV is turned off (and/or the TV)
- Your network is down
- Your WiFi is down
Click the TV screen that you would like to learn about. Next, click the Playlists or Media Tab and check to see if the is a green checkmark. ✅ A green check mark means the content has synced to the Apple TV.
If you see the spinning loading icon below in the screen detail view that means the content is downloading to the Apple TV. WiFi speeds impact the download times of videos. All future and present playlists are downloaded at once. So if you have several playlists it could take time to download the content. 👇
If you are seeing a message like the one below with the gear, and your screen is online, that usually means there is an issue with the internet in that room. 👇
If you see the red warning below in the screen detail view that means the issue is related to a bad file. If you see the red icon email support@playlister.app with your church name and the name of the screen encountering the warning. 👇
Remember - Playlister download speeds depend on your internet in the building. Recommended internet speed:
Playlister can run completely offline, however for best performance while downloading content we recommend a 10mbps download and 5mbps upload speed at a minimum. Larger video files will take 5-15 minutes to download over the speed of 30-50 MBPS
